New Curtains

I think that this multi-
purpose, 'everybody uses
for everything' room,

is definitely a lot closer to being
complete...I
need to plan something for that
big ugly back door!!

Its taken me a long time to
find material that works with the couch
and love seat, and will also
work when  I slip cover them...
Yzerman!

The reason slip covering is needed,
I just don't have the heart to move him off.

The wall color looks way off
in the picture below.

It does however, have
lots of neutral tones,
with layers or texture.
Cosy for winter.

This fabric was found at Fabricland,
they were having a huge 50% off sale,
so they ended up being under $100!!!
Super Sale that weekend.
THEN..
my mom has lent me her serger, wow
so much fun!  Finishing these curtains
was super easy.

Of course, I had to add a
 little sparkle!

This is when we first
moved in...
not very relaxing,
:/

I felt like we were getting there..
very slowly.

After a lot of painting, rearranging, sewing,
and saving, this room is finally
what I had in visioned
 as our family space.

Just in time to start decorating
for
Christmas!

I will show more of the
living room once I start pulling
out our Christmas stuff...
its not too early is it?
;)

Moving More Furniture :)

Right now we are working on our downstairs bathroom,
Studs up, gyproc up, mudding and painting...check!
So now I am just waiting until my husband has some time to
do the floor, we are installing heated flooring under
ceramic tiles . The bathroom is very chilly so I think that it is a wise investment.
Anyhow, I am still cleaning dusting and re-arranging.  You know the
storey, the domino effect....you move one piece of furniture and suddenly you have
moved things through out your house. This is a great way to spring clean!
(I enjoy the after affects of cleaning...but not
the process!)

This cabinet has also been various colors and tones of wood!
I think we have had it for almost 20 years!

I like the way the top is ...but I need something
"rough" for the shelves..it just looks too
formal for me! hhhmmmm..

I love white roses!  Fake or not Idc!  hahah

Lots of creams and whites and a little
natural tones!

Thanks for visiting!  I hope to be able to post
our FINISHED bathroom soon!
I am joining

Have a super day!
